Job Requirements & Description
Job Position-1: Finance and Administrative Assistant – Maternity Cover
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent in office management, accounting, business administration, or related discipline
Professional Experience and Competency:
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience in accounting and office management responsibilities;
- Strong knowledge of internal control system and procedures;
- Self-motivation and excellent skill in team work;
- Computer literate with advanced skill in using Ms Office, especially Excel & Word;
- Able to take initiative and work with limited supervision, organised, attentive to details;
- High levels of integrity and loyalty to colleagues, the team and the organisation;
- Ability to work under pressure, manages stress & maintains high performance;
- Team and organization wide cooperation.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly
- Understanding of Clerical and Secretarial Principles

Job Position-2: Agro Climate Advisory and Agricultural Development Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Science, Agro-meteorology, Climate Change Adaptation, NRM, or related field.
Experience: 5–7 years of experience in agricultural extension, climate services, rural development, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience working with smallholder farmers preferably in rainfed, semi-arid, or drought-prone systems.
- Strong understanding of climate–agriculture linkages, agro-met advisory systems, and climate-smart agriculture.
- Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder processes, including government, research, private sector, and community institutions.
- Training design, facilitation, and knowledge-sharing skills.
Key Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to convert scientific and technical content into practical, farmer-friendly messages.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Job Position-3: ARCS Project Manager
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: MSc in Rural Development, NRM, Agricultural Extension, Climate Science, Management, or related field.
Experience: 7–10 years of relevant professional experience, including minimum 3 years managing climate-services, agro-meteorology, or climate-resilient agriculture projects.
- Certification or formal training in Agro-Climate Advisory Systems and Project Cycle Management.
- Demonstrated experience implementing adaptive practices with smallholder farmers in rainfed systems.
- Strong knowledge of climate–agriculture linkages, CIS value chains, extension systems, and climate-resilience frameworks.
- Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder platforms, government systems, and technical partners.
- Proven experience in facilitating training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events.
- Excellent digital literacy: MS Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, information security, and other ICT tools.
