Required Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical management within agriculture or industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance, repair, and automation systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance programs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- All essential job responsibilities will be executed in accordance with SuperOva Agrotech plc policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Technical Head in SuperOva Agrotech plc is responsible for keeping every machine, vehicle, and system running smoothly, preventing downtime, and ensuring safety and efficiency across operations.
- Planning, including scheduling, risk management, and documentation.
- Proficiency in sketch reading is essential to understand technical drawings, symbols, and schematics for accurate troubleshooting and repairs.
- Interpretation skills enable analyzing data, diagnosing faults, applying manuals, and communicating findings to ensure efficient and safe maintenance outcomes.
- Oversee technical operations across poultry farms, feed processing plants, and company owned vehicles.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all machinery and equipment of the company.
- Diagnose and repair broken machinery, electrical systems, and automation controls.
- Schedule preventive maintenance, oiling, lubrication, and servicing of all equipment.
- Manage servicing and repair of tractors, trucks, and transport vehicles.
- Maintain and upgrade electrical and automation systems, including sensors, alarms, and climate-control devices.
- Supervise processing equipment to ensure hygienic and efficient operations.
- Implement safety protocols and environmental management systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and service history.
- Coordinate procurement of spare parts, consumables, and technical supplies.
- Organize and manage technical and development teams.
- Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness in the market.
- Establish and enforce technical standards and best practices.
- Manage technical budget and resource allocation.
