Job Requirements & Description
Position: Junior Site Engineer’s (For Jr Planning , Jr Quality Assurance Quality control, Jr Procurement Engineer , Jr Risk Engineer , Jr QS , Jr cost control , Jr Electrical Engineer , Jr Sanitary Engineer, Data Capturer )
Educational Qualification:
- Bsc in Civil Engineering or related field of study
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates with zero years of experience
- Bright talents with the right attitude and potential
- Must have the passion to work on site
- Great communication skills
- Ability to use MS Office
- Open to learn and stretch
- Preferable if the candidate lives in Jimma.
Scope of the role
To support the On-Site Engineering per the relevant scope requirements, ensuring that all installation/statutory/consultants/local authorities approvals and guidelines are applied on site at all times and that the Contract Specifications and Requirements are upheld as per the Company QA/QC policies. Staff & Labor Performance Efficiencies are to be recorded and reported weekly to senior management. Contract Engineering documentation and Delivery requirements are to be disseminated by the Site Engineer.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure that all contract specifications and guidelines are adhered to at all times during the commencement/construction/hand-over periods of the project.
- Ensure that material submittals are issued with the relevant consultants requirements and that the site teams have usable and up to date information. A register must be put in place and maintained at all times.
- Ensure that all Method Statements & Risk Assessments are in line with company HSE/QA-QC procedures. This information must also be recorded on a usable platform. Make sure that all compliance statements, testing and commissioning, spares, warranties and delivery period requirements are upheld at all times.
- Support procurement/long lead item schedule in tandem with your line managers/project engineers indicating delivery dates and the status of the pending material/s deliveries and follow up delivery dates whilst recording any issues which may impact programme delivery.
