Nib Insurance Company (NIC) was established by 658 shareholders with an authorized capital of Birr 50.0 million and a Paid-Up Capital of Birr 14.0 million in May 02, 2002 with 4 branches in Addis Ababa and a total staff size of not more than 50.
Currently, the paid up capital has reached to Birr 250 million and the number of shareholders increased to 1,014. NIC provides both General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance Services to its clients.

Job Requirements & Description
Position 1: Secretary Cashier
- Qualification: Level IV(Diploma) with (COC) in Secretary or Administrative office or Administrative Service Management or Secretarial Science and Office Management or Administering Office and Secretarial Technology or Accounts and Budget Service or Secretarial Science or Customer Contact and Secretarial Operations
- Experience: Not Required but those who have experience are encouraged to apply
- Grade: III
Position 2: Junior Procurement Officer
- Qualification: Level IV (Diploma) with COC in Supply Chain Management or Procurement or Logistics or Management or Accounting or in related fields
- Experience: 2 years relevant experience
- Grade: IV
Position 3: Investment and Shareholders Accounts Division Head
- Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance or Management or in related fields
- Experience: 7 years relevant experience, of which 3 years as Senior Investment Officer or as Senior Accountant in investment related areas or in a similar position
- Grade: X
