Job Requirements & Description
Job Position-1: ACCOUNTANT
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIFA, or equivalent) at foundation or intermediate level are advantageous.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance.
Experience in telecom, ICT, engineering, infrastructure, construction, maintenance, logistics, or project-based environments is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in:
- General ledger accounting
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Tax filing support (VAT, withholding tax, payroll taxes)
- Document verification and filing
- Use of accounting software or ERP systems
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian accounting standards and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Position-2: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related field (Master’s degree an advantage). Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIFA) are advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance.
Preferred Sector Experience: Telecom, ICT, engineering, infrastructure, construction, maintenance, logistics, or project-based environments.
Demonstrated Experience in: Financial reporting, tax management, budget control, financial analysis, audit coordination, bank reconciliation, internal controls, and team supervision.
Other: Experience working with multiple operational sites or regional offices is required.
Certification- Peachtree accounting is Mandatory.
