Job Requirements & Description
The Regional Rehabilitation Specialist will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and monitoring rehabilitation programmes that are culturally appropriate and aligned with HI’s standards. Standard duties for this role typically include:
- Assessing the rehabilitation needs of communities and vulnerable populations across multiple countries.
- Developing and implementing evidence‑based rehabilitation strategies, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and psychosocial support.
- Providing technical guidance and capacity‑building to local partners, NGOs, and government agencies.
- Ensuring compliance with humanitarian standards, safeguarding policies, and donor requirements.
- Collecting, analysing, and reporting data to measure impact and inform programme adjustments.
- Representing HI in regional coordination meetings, advocacy forums, and stakeholder engagements.
