Job Position – Senior Accountant

Job Requirements & Description
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
Experience
- At least 2 year of managerial or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and accounting practices
- Strong understanding of cost control, inventory management, and cash handling
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree/sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Strong Excel skill for reporting and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Experience in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
