Job Requirements & Description
Job Position – Junior Accountant
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, or similar accounting software.
- Proven ability to learn new software quickly; you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards for handling sensitive financial data and large-scale payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in prepare and initiate daily disbursements via digital banking platforms.
- Perform reconciliations between the system, payment gateways, and bank statements.
- Regularly update and maintain financial data within our proprietary system.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including journal entries and accruals.
- Use Excel functions to organize large datasets, identify discrepancies, and generate weekly financial reports.
- Support the preparation of tax declarations and statutory payments (VAT, Withholding, etc.).
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Track accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
Requirement Skill
- Microsoft Office Pack: Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Powerpoint.
- Accounting.
Job Position – Head of Customer Service
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in customer service or operations.
- Strong understanding of customer experience management and service operations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and local languages (e.g., Amharic; additional languages are a plus).
- High emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution ability.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using customer support tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-growing, high-accountability environment.
