Job Position – Junior Warehouse Agent

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in air, sea, and/or land logistics operations, with emphasis on freight forwarding and shipment coordination.
Mandatory: Prior experience in a logistics/freight forwarding company.
Preferred: Working knowledge of Ethiopian Customs Commission procedures (including digitalization and recent waiver/streamlining directives), Ethiopian Airlines cargo operations, Djibouti port handling (including current multimodal restrictions), and local trucking regulations.

Essential Skills & Competencies

Comprehensive knowledge of multi-modal (air, sea, land) logistics processes and freight forwarding practices.
Strong capability to critically review, validate, and approve pre-alert and customs documentation with high accuracy.
Solid understanding of customs clearance, transport coordination, and regulatory compliance in Ethiopia and internationally.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills (with authorities, carriers, clients, and partners).
Exceptional attention to detail, data accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Proven capacity to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, tracking sheet preparation); competent in email systems and logistics/transport management software (TMS/ERP preferred).
