Job Position – Finance and Administration Fellow

Job Requirements & Description
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in finance and administrative operations, preferably in NGOs or education institutions.
- Knowledge of Ethiopian tax, labor, and donor compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication, time management, and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software, and document management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process CPV/PCPV payments, checks, and bank transfers after verification and approval.
- Generate withholding tax (WHT) vouchers, submit monthly income tax, pension, and WHT declarations, and secure ERCA receipts.
- Manage petty cash, monitor transactions, prepare replenishment summaries, and ensure proper documentation.
- Organize, scan, and maintain financial documents and fixed asset registers for donor reporting and recordkeeping.
- Record daily purchases, prepare GRNs, and ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
- Stamp financial documents as “Paid” and maintain accountability.
- Collaborate with operations and administrative teams to support smooth office functions, including monitoring supplies.
- Perform additional finance and administrative duties as assigned.
