Job Requirements & Description
Agronomist
- Develop and implement plant‑science research and agronomic practices that improve crop yields and sustainability.
- Support rural development initiatives and agricultural innovation through field trials and value‑chain analysis.
- Collaborate with agribusiness partners to enhance market access and profitability for smallholder farmers.
Development Agent
- Facilitate community‑based agricultural projects, providing technical assistance in plant and animal science.
- Promote sustainable farming practices and capacity‑building activities among rural households.
- Monitor project progress and report on outcomes to stakeholders.
Gender Officer – Yayu Project
- Integrate gender analysis into project design and implementation to ensure equitable participation.
- Conduct trainings and workshops on gender‑responsive approaches for staff and community members.
- Track gender‑related indicators and produce reports for donors and partners.
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer – Yayu Project
- Design and manage M&E frameworks, data collection tools, and reporting systems.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess project performance and impact.
- Provide evidence‑based recommendations for program improvement.
Organizational Development Officer – Yayu Project
- Support cooperative development and strengthen institutional capacities of rural organizations.
- Facilitate training on business administration, agricultural economics, and development planning.
- Assist in strategic planning, governance, and resource mobilization activities.
