Job Requirements & Description
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in the accounting sector
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel is an advantage).
- Excellent English communication skills are mandatory, as the role involves working closely with expatriates and foreign staff.
- Ability to work independently in a remote camp-based environment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assets and inventory control at the site.
- Post and manage creditors’ and debtors’ invoices.
- Assist with payroll preparation in coordination with the HR Department.
- Handle employment tax and pension payments with the Benishangul Tax Administration Office.
- Manage petty cash and cash sales at the site.
- Prepare daily petty cash and camp bank reports.
- Deposit cash sales on a weekly basis.
- Support cash flow planning and overall site financial management.
