Job Position 1 – Senior Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (experience in import/export or trading company is highly preferred).
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations.
Experience handling foreign currency transactions and bank LC processes is an advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Record and manage all financial transactions related to import and export activities.
- Handle supplier payments, foreign currency transactions, LC (Letter of Credit) follow-ups, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review import cost calculations including freight, customs duty, insurance, and clearing expenses.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, shipping documents, and customs-related payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with government tax regulations including VAT, withholding tax, customs duties, and pension contributions.
- Process payroll and monitor operational expenses.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Coordinate with banks, customs agents, and clearing officers regarding financial documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Support external and internal audits by preparing required documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure proper financial control procedures.
Job Position 2 – Import and Export Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 1–3 years of proven experience in import/export operations within Ethiopia.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Ethiopian Customs Procedure Codes and valuation directives.
Proficiency in the Single Window System
Strong grasp of international shipping terms and logistics frameworks.
Skills: Excellent communication skills in Amharic and English (knowledge of Mandarin is a plus).
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Key Responsibilities
- Documentation Management: Prepare and process essential trade documents including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin.
- Customs Compliance: Manage customs declaration procedures and ensure all shipments adhere to the Ethiopian Customs Commission regulations and international trade laws.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee the movement of goods from international suppliers (including China) to local destinations, managing Incoterms such as CIF, FOB, and CAD.
- Banking & Finance: Coordinate with commercial banks regarding Letters of Credit (L/Cs), CAD payments, and export proceed management.
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as a point of contact for customs officials, freight forwarders, and insurance companies to resolve any clearance or transit issues.
- Inventory & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and provide regular status reports to management.
Job Position 3 – Senior HR & General Service Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Technical Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of Ethiopian Labor Law and civil service regulations.
Experience in drafting formal minutes of association and commercial agreements.
Familiarity with safety and health standards for office and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from drafting vacancy announcements to conducting interviews and facilitating the onboarding of new staff.
- Contract Administration: Draft and manage employment contracts, work experience letters, and various internal personnel memorandums.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement employee evaluation systems and handle disciplinary procedures in accordance with Ethiopian Labor Law.
- Payroll & Benefits: Oversee monthly payroll processing, pension clearances, and employee insurance administration.
- Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to enhance staff productivity.
General Services & Administration:
- Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and security of company offices, warehouses, and industrial facilities.
