Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: BA Degree
- Experience: 3 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Human Resources Management experience is essential.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Proven strong Employee Relations (ER) experience in a unionised environment.
- Sound labor legislation knowledge (Labour Proclamation and workplace-related legislation, etc.
- Excellent influencing, consulting, and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.
- Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of theory and good practice in key areas of Human Resources Management.
- Track record in delivering successful people management solutions in a manufacturing environment and supporting organizational change; influencing, building, and sustaining relationships to achieve results.
Responsibilities
- Provides support in the review/development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks, and for their completeness and compliance with HBSC’s vision, country laws, and sound international practices.
- Supports the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Supports in handling employee relations cases.
- Support in the induction process of the organization.
- Support in the implementation of planned staff training and employee career development programs.
- Support in the development of employees’ engagement initiatives and in their proper implementation.
- Any other duty as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Meets customer needs with solutions that are profitable for his/her (division of the organization.
- Responds immediately and adequately to unexpected, urgent or new matters.
- Only provides others with confidential or personal information if they have a legal right to it.
- Takes actions to adapt to new circumstances as quickly as possible.
