Job Requirements & Description

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • Experience: 5+ years progressive HR experience (with supervision)
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor, pension & tax laws
  • Experience in payroll, recruitment, HRIS/ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills, integrity, and excellent English communication

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment and selection in line with manpower plans
  • Manage and process monthly payroll, deductions, attendance, and terminations
  • Prepare HR reports (manpower, turnover, attendance, overtime, leave, H&S)
  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor, tax, and pension laws
  • Prepare severance and statutory reports
  • Coordinate with Finance on payroll matters
  • Represent HR in internal committees (employee welfare & compliance)
  • Support HR policy development and system improvements
