Applications are now open for the Irish Government GOIIES Scholarships 2026 in Ireland. International students from all countries are eligible to apply for the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships 2024, funded by the Irish Government. Students wishing to pursue a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree at top universities in Ireland are strongly encouraged to apply. Scholarship Requirements & Description
Eligible criteria:
- International students from non-EU/EEA countries are eligible to apply
- Selected candidates must begin their studies in September or October 2024; later enrolment is considered only for PhD awardees
- Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic performance
- Strong communication skills are required
Benefits:
- An annual stipend of €18,500 will be awarded
- Full tuition fees and all registration-related costs at the host higher education institution will be fully waived
- The scholarship may be granted for one of the following study options:
- The final year of an undergraduate degree program
- One year of a taught master’s degree program
- One year of a research program (for example, one year of a two-year research master’s or a three- to four-year PhD program)
