Applications are now open for the Irish Government GOIIES Scholarships 2026 in Ireland. Scholarship Requirements & Description

Eligible criteria:

  • International students from non-EU/EEA countries are eligible to apply
  • Selected candidates must begin their studies in September or October 2024; later enrolment is considered only for PhD awardees
  • Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic performance
  • Strong communication skills are required

Benefits:

  • An annual stipend of €18,500 will be awarded
  • Full tuition fees and all registration-related costs at the host higher education institution will be fully waived
  • The scholarship may be granted for one of the following study options:
    • The final year of an undergraduate degree program
    • One year of a taught master’s degree program
    • One year of a research program (for example, one year of a two-year research master’s or a three- to four-year PhD program)
