Job Requirements & Description
Position: Junior Accountant
Required Skills and Experience:
- 1-2 years proven experience in an accounting position (in a factory is preferable).
- Knowledge of Peachtree software application.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability in financial analysis and reporting.
- Basic data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to prepare accurate financial records and reports.
- Knowledge of essential financial statements.
- Familiarity with full IFRS financial statements preparation and review.
- Detail-oriented approach to financial documentation and analysis.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and files.
- Capacity to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Amharic; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
