Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of more than 2 years proven experience as a Professional Video Editor.
- Advanced proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong creativity with excellent attention to detail and visual storytelling ability.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into high‑quality, engaging final productions for television, digital platforms, and promotional campaigns.
- Create compelling visual stories by applying strong storytelling techniques, pacing, and creative transitions.
- Perform color correction and color grading to ensure professional visual quality and brand consistency.
- Synchronize and enhance audio, including sound effects, background music, and dialogue clarity.
- Add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, subtitles, and visual effects where required.
- Review and refine edits based on feedback from the production team and management.
- Ensure all video content meets technical broadcasting standards and digital platform requirements.
- Organize and manage video files, project timelines, and editing workflows efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with producers, scriptwriters, and marketing teams to align content with campaign objectives.
- Maintain consistency in branding, style, and tone across all edited content.
