Job Requirements & Description
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education: BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years of experience in sales of Electro-Mechanical & Industrial Equipment (e.g., Pumps, Generators, UPS, etc.) as a Sales Engineer or similar role.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and participate in sales activities of the company.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products to existing and prospective customers.
- Lead the preparation of technical tender documents to participate in bids.
- Prepare sales contracts and proposals.
- Talk with customers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
- Secure and renew sales orders and arrange delivery.
- Plan and modify products to meet customer requirements.
- Help in researching and developing new products based on market demand.
- Provide technical product information and advice to customers and the internal sales staff.
- Supervise and evaluate the activities of subordinates.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events to generate sales opportunities.
- Take, process, and check orders for whole goods and spare parts.
- Provide information to the company’s management regarding customers, orders, and market trends.
- Maintain and manage technical documentation related to products and sales proposals.
- Refer to technical documentation of imported items to support sales proposals.
- Participate in product training from manufacturers to strengthen sales capability.
- Replace colleagues when absent or when otherwise required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Communicate regularly with the Commercial Director to establish sales contracts and identify new sales opportunities.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and market analysis.
- Perform other sales-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
