Job Requirements & Description

Required Qualification and Experience

  • Education: The position requires a minimum of BSC Degree in Engineering Sciences (Industrial or Chemical Engineering) or Occupational Safety and Health or Industrial Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or related field of study
  • Experience: 8 years’ experience
  • A detail understanding of ISO 22000 / ISO 14001 / ISO 9001 / ISO 45001/ ISO 19011
  • Experience of health and safety, environmental and food safety quality management systems.
  • System knowledge on auditing skills
  • Excellent leadership and man-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor Integrated Management System (ISO 9001: Quality Management System, ISO 22000: Food Safety Management System, ISO 45001: Occupational Health & Safety Management System and ISO 14001: Environmental Management System) implementation in all factories according to the system requirement and report the progress to the top management of the company
  • Lead and coordinate company risk assessment and mitigation plan including context of organization and HACCP by following industry trends and system requirements
  • Ensure that root causes analysis is conducted, and corrective actions are undertaken to address nonconformities found and verify closure of non-conformities.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees at all levels on IMS policies, procedures, and best practices through training sessions and communication campaigns.
  • Evaluate the overall performance and progress regarding System implementations, by visiting all factories and auditing and suggest solution for continual improvement
  • Oversee and regularly review operations to ensure adherence to system requirements, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Plan, lead, organize, staff & control department’s overall activities by developing, implementing & tracking key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Collaborate with different departments and external regulatory bodies to address IMS concerns
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager
