Job Overview

YaYa PII SC is a Payment Instrument Issuer focusing on providing payment solutions through mobile wallet software systems. YaYa PII SC is established in 2022 and licensed in compliance with Licensing and Authorization of Payment Instrument Issuers Directive No. ONPS/09/2023 issued by National Bank of Ethiopia.

We develop and maintain technological solutions that centers on an iOS and Android smartphone applications to perform the following operations.

Provide cash-in and cash-out, local money transfers including domestic remittances, load to card or bank account, transfer to card or bank account, domestic payments including purchase from physical merchants, bill payments, over-the-counter transactions, and inward international remittance services.

Job Requirements & Description

Position 1: Junior Accountant

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience: 0–2 Years of relevant accounting experience
  • Certification: Professional certification is an advantage
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above
  • Must have passed the national exit exam
  • For fresh graduates: must have graduated in 2016 E.C or later

Salary: Salary as per the company scale

Position 2: Junior Customer Support Officer

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience: 0–2 Years of experience in customer support or call centre roles
  • Certification: Customer service training is an advantage
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above
  • Must have passed the national exit exam
  • For fresh graduates: must have graduated in 2016 E.C or later.

Salary: Salary as per the company scale

Position 3: Junior Customer Operation and Partnership Officer

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience: 0–2 Years of relevant experience
  • Certification: Relevant training is an advantage
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above
  • Must have passed the national exit exam
  • For fresh graduates: must have graduated in 2016 E.C or later.

Position 4: Junior HR and Admin Officer

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience: 0–2 Years of relevant experience in HR and administrative roles
  • Certification: HR-related training is an advantage
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above
  • Must have passed the national exit exam
  • For fresh graduates: must have graduated in 2016 E.C or later

Position 5: Junior QA Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in software testing/QA (manual and automated), preferably in fintech, banking, or digital payments.
  • Certification in QA/software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, and load testing.

Position 6: Junior Reconciliation and Compliance Officer

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience: 0–2 Years of relevant experience
  • Certification: Compliance or finance-related training is an advantage

  • Must have passed the national exit exam
  • For fresh graduates: must have graduated in 2016 E.C or later
